Chao Sanctuary aims to tickle your nostalgia in many ways while still providing a fresh experience to chao raising. It'll be a visual novel with an engaging story while also providing the classic chao care points, albeit with a little twist:
You're opening your own chao garden!Talaka tackles the role of director for this game project. He's pitched a mobile version of the game before in 2022, but he reworked all the concepts from the ground up, removing the mobile focus and going back to old console vibes. His biggest wish is to develop this as a NDS (Nintendo DS) game (NDS developers hit him up), but since that is out of his capabilities, think of this more as a GBA-esque (GameBoyAdvance) title instead (akin to Sonic Battle).The focus of the new game is a relaxing and cute pet sim that is packaged in a thoughtful story about friendship and love for all things living.

Elise has been plagued with the mystery behind her father's death for 10 years.Shut away in the castle for her own protection as the last member of the royal family, everything changes on the Festival of the Sun's first day when a blue hedgehog saves Elise from Eggman's clutches.With newfound friends in Sonic and Amy, Elise sets out on a journey to finally unravel the circumstance of her father's death and its strange connection with the "Flames of Disaster" Eggman seeks.

Suffering from amnesia, Metal has still managed to build a life with Silver and Blaze in a destroyed future.When the duo decide to take a chance at saving it, Metal follows them of course. But more lies in the past for him than they first thought.
About
Lucente Project is a celebration of Sonic 06's 20th anniversary.Sonic 06 is cited as the end of an era for the early 2000's Sonic game style and storyline (Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog). This project aims to capture some of that early 2000's vibe in a new form.For this project the CQC team would like to focus on telling a story which gives each character a chance to properly shine, with particular refinement to Elise, Blaze, and Rouge's storylines. The team would like to craft a story which is not only fun to read but also fun for every contributor to work on.
Pre-Production
Lucente Project is planing to create an experimental seralised cohesive story. Because of this the project will need to be in pre-production of at least 4 months to help decide the story and character designs before contributors can work on the project.Pre-production will decide crucial things, such as how many episodes long the project will be, the basic story beats, and divergent details from the original story.

Serialised Weekly Stories
Seralised weekly "episodes" of the Sonic 06 rewrite released in the form of Ao3 works in a collection.
Each "episode" would be written by a diffrent writer and illustrated by a diffrent artist. However they would be overseen by a Senario Writer and Editor to make sure that the episode are cohesive enough to make a story that makes sense.After all of the "episodes" are released a zine compliling them all into 1 pdf will be released onto itch.io for easy reading.

A downloadable PDF which contains information for readers interested in the au can read through. Think a downloadable wiki which can be read years and years in the future!Would be formatted similar to a TTRPG scenario or area guide, with engaging formatting to make the reading experience easy for new readers. Includes illustrations from multiple artists from the project depicting object, locations, characters, and more.Would give a base for writers to iterate on for spin-offs from this au or use in other fanfics.

Would allow for musicians or audio designers to be featured in the mp3 and be formatted similar to a radio drama.

What is a Zine?
A zine is, in fandom spaces, a collaborative effort of creatives to make a sort of art collection/book! The word “zine” comes from “magazine”. Everyone working on the project gets to make something for one (or more) of the pages of this zine!Every step will be explained within the project, and you can always talk to a mod if you are unsure of what you have to do or if you are doing things right. It’s always best to speak up if you don’t understand, because it makes things a lot less stressful for everyone involved!
